Scope Mount for Japanese Arisaka Type 99 7.7 Scout. Does not include rings. Mount is 3.5″ long.

Picatinny style mount accepting weaver rings.
Will fit the 38 rifle, but NOT the 44 Carbine

Instructions:
Remove the rear sight by pushing the hinge pin out and then remove the sight and springThe spring is removed by tapping it toward the barrel endYou will have to first remove the wood coverSlide the special nut into the slot the spring was removed fromThe nut is tapered so insert the small side of the nut from the barrel end of the slotPlace the mount into the rear sight area aligning the two 4-40 screw holes where the hinge pin was removedInser the two 4-40 x 3/8 socket head scres into the mount and tighten lightlyInsert the 10-32 x 3/8 flat head screw into the mount and tightenInsert the 10-32 x 3/8 set screw into the mount and tighten
