Description

The Ballistic Advantage Premium Black Series 18″ BA Hanson Barrel is a replacement barrel for DPMS-style AR-308/AR-10-pattern rifles chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It provides an 18″ barrel option for a .308-platform build or conversion while retaining compatibility with the platform’s standard .308 bolt and magazine.

This barrel uses Ballistic Advantage’s proprietary BA Hanson profile, a mid-length gas system, and a 1:8 twist. Its hardened 416R stainless steel construction is finished in corrosion-resistant Black QPQ. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for compatible muzzle devices.

A pinned .875″ low-profile gas block is included. The dedicated gas-block seat measures 1.03″ long and is sized for a .875″ low-profile gas block. BA Hanson barrels are not designed for use with aftermarket piston kits.

At 43.2 oz, this barrel is high-pressure proof fired and magnetic-particle inspected. It is offered in New Condition.
