This round’s 150 grain AccuBond bullet gets real mean on impact. Its lead-alloy core and copper-alloy jacket are tightly fastened together – bonded, no less – which assures the long wound that does the right trick. The AccuBond’s polymer tip’s tail is set within its core’s nose cavity, and easily triggers expansion as the tapered jacket’s thin rim splits apart.

The AccuBond is no slouch in terms of accuracy, either. The forces of recoil and propulsion don’t deform its polymer tip or boat tail, so it retains the streamlined profile it needs to exhibit 0.500 G1 BC; ~70% velocity retention, ~50% energy retention at 500 yards.
